Remember Friday Night Movies? Well, it's baaaaack! I have a bigger living room than in Wakefield and a new surround sound system (same old furniture, though). Also, I just taped "More Tales of the City" from Showtime, which most people don't get (not even me any more.) So come spend some time with some old friends like Kevin and David and Tony and Mrs. Madrigal and Mary Ann Singleton and even some old friends with unfamilair faces like Michael "Mouse" Tolliver and Mona Ramsey. I'll be showing the first two or three episodes on Friday, July 3rd, cartoon shorts to start at 8:00pm. So if you're not going away for the holiday weekend and want to beat the heat in 8,000 BTUs of air conditioned comfort, stop by Kevin's place in Melrose. BTW, in the future, Miles and I were discussing moving Movie Night around to different locales, so if you're interested in hosting, let me know; I've got an extensive video library (as my movers found out) from which to choose. "More Tales of the City" (1998) (USA, 1998) Directed by Pierre Gang, starring Olympia Dukakis, Laura Linney, William Campbell and Swoosie Kurtz. [Mona opens Michael's door to find him in bed with Jon.] Mona Ramsay: Hi, I'm Nancy Drew. You must be the Hardy Boys! Mona Ramsay: Coke? Mary Ann Singleton: No thanks, I'm on a diet. Do you have any Fresca? RSVP if you can so that I may better plan, Kevin This is just a brief reminder I'll be showing "More Tales of the City - Part Duo" at my Melrose place next Sunday, Nov 29 starting at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be provided, but if folks could bring along a dessert or beverage, that would be appreciated. See you on Sunday and have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. Love, Kevin
