Welcome to

The Friday Night Movie
Annual Oscar Contest

Oscar Night was
Sunday, March 4, 2018

The ballots have been tallied and the 90th Academy Awards are over.

Thanks to all for taking part in my 16th annual Oscar contest. Congrats to the winner, Sheila Serrano, who got 17 out of 21 right in the feature-length categories and 2 in the shorts categories. Three others also got 17 right, so I had to go to the short films for the tie-breaker. Second place goes to Erik Hobbs, Erik Keller, and Patricia Morris with 17 features and 1 short. Third place finishers were Brenda Van Damme and Nelson Wong with 16 features and 1 short. In the non-com category, long-time internet player Jimmy Orsag guessed an impressive 18 awards correctly. Congrats to all the top placers and thanks to all who participated.

All the results are posted below. If you don't see your name in the list, I did receive several entires with no name so email me directly and we'll figure it out.

Check out the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) Oscar site for more details on this year's Oscars.

Thanks for participating. See you on the red carpet next year.
