- 93 South to Exit 24 "Callahan Tunnel."
- Straight at end of ramp following "Surface Artery" back under expressway.
- Stay in left lane and take first possible left.
- Take next left onto Atlantic Ave.
- Joe's is on right after Columbus Park.
From the south:
- 93 North to Exit 22 "Atlantic Ave."
- Stay left at end of ramp, then bear right onto Atlantic Ave.
- Take right at 5th set of lights just after Marriott, following "Atlantic Ave/North End" signs.
- Joe's is on right after Columbus Park.

- Aquarium on Blue Line
- Exit station on to State Street.
- Walk left down State Street and under the Expressway.
- Cross Atlantic Ave to the Marriott Long Wharf.
- Walk down the left side of the Marriott to the Harbor.
- Walk left following the water to Joe's Bar & Grill.
- Exit station on to State Street.
- State on Orange Line
- Exit station at the Old State House.
- Cross Congress Street and walk left towards Faneuil Hall.
- Turn right to Faneuil Hall and continue walking between Quincy Market and South Market.
- Walk under the archway at the end near Banana Republic.
- Continue walking straight under the Expressway.
- Cross Atlantic Ave to the Marriott Long Wharf.
- Walk down the left side of the Marriott to the Harbor.
- Walk left following the water to Joe's Bar & Grill.
- Haymarket on Green Line
- Exit station and walk east towards the Expressway and the North End.
- Take walkway to the North End thru the Big Dig construction.
- Walk right up Cross Street.
- Turn left on Hanover and right on Richmond.
- (You're basically following the Freedom Trail at this point.)
- Keep on walking straight down Richmond to the end.
- Cross Atlantic Ave and turn left.
- Joe's Bar & Grill is on the right just after Columbus Park
